Anybody know a good mechanic in Wilmington? I've already been through two incompetent mechanics and just want my truck fixed right. Thanks.

I'm having a timing issue and I also may have some transfer case problems. When I put it in reverse I hear like a chain rubbing against metal for a second and then goes away.

yeah I hope it runs in the family..
If PI is even half the transmission guy his dad is, he is the guy to go to.

Yeah it's a full size Bronco. 1996 with the 5.8. I believe its the Borg Warner 1356 t-case. I've only had it for a couple months and i'm trying to get everything right. The timing issue came up after I changed the dizzy and did an ignition upgrade. I think it's timing, but I've checked it a thousand times and can't figure it out. It may be something else. The previous owner told me he thought the transfer case chain had stretched causing the noise. I'm not sure though. Do you do engine work also? Thanks for the help.

You think you can figure out my timing problem? When is a good time to bring it by? Where are you located?
