Yeah I test drove it. It depends on what you it for. If its the body you are after then its not a bad rig. However, if you are wanting a capable rig then don't waste your time. The transmission and the transfer case both need to be rebuilt or replaced and I am not talking about later on, they would need to be changed right away. It runs like crap, not sure wants wrong with the motor may just be a carb issue or other tuning problem. For the rest of the drivetrain its shot, doesn't shift well and something is wrong in the case, not sure but it made a lot of noise. They have dropped the price from like 2200, they told me 1500. If you could get it for 700 or 800 then it would be worth it. That way you could replace the drivetrain, and then you know what you got.

What are you looking for? there is a load of FSJ's for sale between NC,SC, and GA. Be more than happy to help you find what you want, just need to know how much you are willing to drop, and if you want more of a stocker or something that is ready for tellico, or something in between. Oh yeah are you willing to drive, I had to go to ATL for mine, it was worth every mile, and every stop at the gas station.:D

I am not sure what the going rate on a atv is but cajun lad has a pretty well built Cherokee chief I think he may have it in the for sale section of this forum. I know he has done a lot of work to it and its almost unstoppable. I'll see if I can forward you link.

yeah, its on here. I see that the price is listed as 4Gs but I saw it somewhere today (on another forum) for 2500. He maybe a motivated seller. It is truly an offroad vehicle, made for light road use (possibly going to and from trails close to you). I have been in contact with him before, he says that it could possibly do better on the road if the tires were balanced out, its got 40's on it.
Just an idea, I will keep my eyes open, but for the work he has done to this rig the price seems to be right if you are looking for a capable trail rig.

please stop showing all these FSJ's for sale! I've already sunk too much money into mine, and would own a whole fleet of them if I could afford them. One for each day of the week sounds about right.....
