I think they look good for the highway, but I find it hard to believe that they would clear mud or really grip the rocks all that well. If you wanted some tires for the liberty though, I could see those working.

I've got a good set of MTRs on the liberty now but they are loud.. i've got to put a front end in it first but i'll be swaping out the mtrs shortly afterwards.

these things are pretty new, and quite expensive. I would personally opt for the BFG muds if i were looking for that type of tire. I really dont have any issues with them, no personal experience either (haven't sold nor seen them in person), but from what i could see the price is high.
Look into the Wrangler Silent armors... a little more of an AT but really really good tires.

I too have heard good things about these too, my only issue is i really dislike directional tires on an off-road tire. It complicates the whole spare tire thing, as well as i would prefer to have my jeep have the same traction going either way.

Hmm.. I never really thought about the whole spare tire part of it. Good point. Guess I'll just have to get 2 spares. lol NOT.

On the contrary... Ive heard multiple reviews that Baja Claws do just as good in reverse as they do forward, them being a very directional tire...
*also... people mount baja claws facing backwards at sand dunes and stuff... even though i know im not going to be goin through sand dunes anytime soon, I was just adding that in there anyways  lol

they just wont clean as well going in a reverse direction. Many people will mount the front backwards and the rear forwards, that way if they have to back up the front will bite harder. Personally if my rig were street driven, you woulnt catch me driving with directional tires backwards. Fact of the matter is, water shedding is a huge part of the directional design. Running backwards they will catch water rather than clear it out.
In light mud you may not notice much, but you get in some thick sticky stuff you will wish you had those tires running forward.

Hmm... I see what ur saying... But I just love the look of some directional tires more than regular tires. No offense, but im just tired of seeing BFG muds and Mud Dawgs... I see about 30 sets a day here in conway. Ive seen one set of Claws, and one set of Kumhos, and one set of these too (on James Carrolls truck)... Directional both ways
I just wanna get somethin good and different, even if the performance isnt quite as exceptional..

honestly from what i have read you wont be disappointed with those at all. I just have a personal dislike for directional tires on a off-road rig.
Props to you for getting some though, if you like them that's all that matters. And i would definitely say that it would be nice to see a product review once you get some miles on them.

Which ones? The Hankook? I havent heard many reviews about them cause idk anyone but James that has them and they are only on his 2wd truck. lol
But its cool I get where ur comin from. I'll make sure to get a bunch of reviews on them if I get them, and when I finally decide on which ones to go with :ack2:
Im actually leaning towards the Kumho a little more right now. They look great, nobody has them, and they are fair priced
*edit* except km2's... i like those. haha

Walmart has their own "private label" of the Goodyear DuraTrac. They are called the Goodyear Authority. Great looking tire, IMO...I plan to run them (31x10.50) when I BB the '93.

i do want to retract what i said about them being expensive... they must have dropped the price down with in the last couple months, cause when i first looked at them they were pretty high, now they are where they should be IMHO
