Well after a few agonizing months of being with out a bike i finally found me one. I'm going to the bank tomorrow to get a loan, and hopefully will seal the deal by the end of the week.
It's an 06 Road king custom 88ci 5 speed, with a custom Harley Davidson paint scheme #4 of 100 made. Has 7k on it and is clean as a whistle. Has a few nice pieces of chrome and rinehart true dual exhaust along with a few other neat do-dads.
SO... if you ride and want to make a day out of it, hit me up in the spring and we may be able to make a small CCOR event out of it.
until then, here she is.

all i have to say about pulling a trailer with a bike is....GET A FAWKING CONVERTIBLE IF YOU LIKE HAULING THAT MUCH JUNK WITH YOU AND THE WIND IN YOUR FACE.
and i could make mine loud if i had no muffler too.
so when do i get to race you?

well they aren't that loud... still have the baffles in them, but it's very audible. I think i may actually buy some baffles that back the sound down a few notches. as of right now it's probably about the same or a bit louder than my dad's ultra classic with screamin eagle stage 1 kit.... i dont like a loud bike, just one that has a good sound. AND i used to have a trailer, no more though.

wait maybe i misunderstood... i had a enclosed trailer to put the motorcycle in, not a trailer to pull with the bike.

well picked her up today and all i can say is WOW! this bike is much smoother than my 04 was and it seems to handle better. the rineharts are amazing, sounds good and makes some noise if you want it to. The performance of this bike is better than my 04 too. Over all i am very pleased. I started riding it at 11 today and havent stoped till now!
I am a very happy boy.
and for a little tribute:
04 Road King Custom - 7/18/2008 may she rest in peace.

Good deal --Ride Safe. I've often thought of putting pipes on my Ultra but I think it would get on my nerves after awhile and probably take away from the whole touring experience. My last bike had straight pipes and I had a hell of a headache at the end of a long ride.

Ok a little up-date, I gave her a good polishing the a week ago, took only 9.5 hours. The previous owner maintained her nicely mechanically but it seems like he never put any really time into the shine.
I also installed my Kuryakyn hyper charger, I salvaged it off my 04 and in the process of installing it i was missing a piece. I called Kuryakyn directly and all i can say is WOW what customer service, they told me exactly what i needed to make it fit the 06 and had it to me in a matter of days. I highly recommend kuryakyns products, they are amazing quality and give your ride a nice custom touch.
The piece i needed was a vacuum adaptor to make the butterflies functional, and all i can say is what a PITA to install. But i got it put together today and everything is working beautifully. I may have disturbed the neighbor hood testing it though  .
