Some of my favorite moments in life, happened while sitting around a campfire. Good German or Belgian beer, good friends & good food. People telling stories & jokes, & just chillin out. Haven't been able to combine camping with wheeling as of yet, But I can tell I'd enjoy the hell out of it.:cheers2:

Due to my job, & pre xmas mandatory overtime, I can't commit to anything. Even Sundays may have to be worked. Bums me out.
Early spring, I'm all over it!!!:cheers2:

sounds good, but my work keeps me tied up from late August to Xmas every year. Not sure how it's gonna be with this economy though, I may have to find new work!:cryin:

I think I might of had some of that sippin water, but mine came from "Hog Holler, WV." I asked my pop where this Hog Holler was, he said every other one is named that.:smilielol5:

Alcohol is strictly prohibited anywhere in the national forest, and the rangers have a fun habit of patrolling the campgrounds and giving out tickets for drinking. Unless things have changed it's a $50 ticket to everyone involved, ask me how I know.

I'm told the same thing about the forest and its true, but i have had beer and other refreshments up there and never had trouble. if you act a fool with beer then the fool is asked to go home

South side of the Susquehanna river, just downstream from the Conowingo Dam.
Notable nearby attractions were the duck decoy museum, & the stepping stone museum. I opted to enjoy the camping experience instead.
Susquehanna state park.
